2024 - A YEAR OF IMPACT!

As 2024 comes to an end, we pause to reflect on all that has been accomplished over the past year.

2024 has been a landmark year for Peddle My Wheels. In November of this year, we celebrated our tenth anniversary, which I find unbelievable and am incredibly grateful for. I know from previous businesses how difficult it can be to start something new and maintain and grow it. Thanks to the amazing team we have here who share my values and ambitions, we have managed to navigate some tricky times and continue to be creative and true to our belief that a company can be a force for good and not simply a machine to make money.

Highlights for me have been growing our team to bring in some very talented people who are helping us develop and widen our impact; deepening our relationships with Councils and funding partners, community groups, residents and businesses in the areas we operate in; launching new projects like our Wheels4All accessible cycles loan scheme; managing to grow the OurBike cargo share scheme in the face of some quite challenging obstacles; winning two awards this year for our work with community groups; expanding the Try Before You Bike scheme outside of London; still receiving amazing feedback from the most important part of Peddle My Wheels and OurBike: our users.

We go into the new year more determined than ever to show that placing people and their communities at the forefront of everything we do is the recipe for a successful and rewarding company.
