Calling all Children: Bike of the Future Design Competition

Introducing our exciting new design competition, exclusively for children.

Learn how you or your child could win a brand new bike and cool accessories.

So what's it all about?

At Peddle My Wheels, we strive to help people transition to a more sustainable way of life through cycling, promoting a healthier world and healthier individuals. Our passion and commitment to this vision underpins everything we do.

Our goal with this competition is to create an opportunity to connect young people with the concept of cycling, prompting them to consider the potential advantages for themselves and their surroundings. We want to empower our future leaders, making them the drivers for change that we need, whilst creating opportunities for them to have a whole lot of fun along the way.

The Competition details

Imagine a world where more people ride bikes, the roads are safer, the air is cleaner, and lots of people enjoy being active outdoors. We'd love for you to design the "bike of the future" to help us picture this amazing vision!

You can let your imagination run wild – use paints, pens, collage materials, digital design or even a make 3D model. There are no rules, just have fun and see where your imagination takes you!

This competition is open to all children of school age (or below if you have a budding young artist). So, grab your art supplies and show us your fantastic ideas for the future bike!

How to enter

You can send your child's design to us in several:

1. Share your design on the following social media platforms

Please remember to tag us and use the hashtag #futurebike (please note that your post will be public and viewable by others).

2. If you'd rather not post directly onto social media, please send an email to merissa@peddlemywheels.com with "Future Bike" as the subject line. (Please be aware that we may feature your entry on social media unless you explicitly request otherwise.)

3.  You can also submit your entry by post to Peddle My Wheels, Unit 3, 17-25 Neville Rd, Croydon CR0 2DS

Please seek permission from your parent/guardian before entering this competition and ask them to submit your entry for you.

The Prize

Brand New Children‘s Bike  (similar to the image above) + Accessories

The exact design of the bike will vary depending on age and height of the child. - see our website for example - www.peddlemywheels.com

The Terms and Conditions

• This competition is open to residents living in London only.
• Entrants must be 16 or under.
• Only one competition entry per person.
• Peddle My Wheels decision is final.
• We will not share you or your child’s personal details with third parties.  
• No responsibility can be taken for entries lost or damaged in transit.
• The Closing date is midnight on FRIDAY 26th APRIL 2024
• The winner will be notified by the same means as the entry was submitted on FRIDAY 3rd MAY 2024. If the chosen winner does not respond within two weeks, an alternative winner will be chosen.
• The prize will be selected by the Peddle My Wheels Team (from our website) depending on the age/height of the child.
• No cash alternative for any prizes will be offered.
• Please note entries submitted via social media will be public and viewable by others. Please do not share any personal details.
• For entries submitted by email or post please be aware that we may feature your child's entry on social media channels, unless you explicitly request otherwise.  We will not share details about your child.
• The winning design will be displayed across all of our social media channels and our website, it may also be displayed in their school (when submitted via our bike market scheme) or local council.  We will display your child's first name and age - by entering the competition you are accepting these terms.
